This show was AMAZING..seriously. These guys had the crowd at Knitting Factory going wild. During "SAY I WON'T"...wow, just wowwww.
Met Brian Fallon across the street at some deli, he was buying a red bull and cigs or something. Went up to him and said "you look familair" and I showed him the background to my phone which is The 59' Sound pic on their myspace. Talked for a few minutes and asked him if he had an extra ticket in a joking manner, cuz I didn't have one.
Anyways, it was my 1st time seeing them live but what an experience. I went alone so I had to make friends, most of the people there seemed to know the band and it was literally like one big party. This band is going to get VERY big VERY soon. Enjoy them for now.

Also, I thought Polar Bear Club was a good opener. Never saw or heard of them before, but I'm definatley checking them out.

Wow. This band puts on such a fun show. In Cambridge they played everything they played in NYC in somewhat different order. In addition, they played Senor and the Queen, Boomboxes and Dictionaries, and High Lonesome.
Polar Bear Club was also pretty good and there were a bunch of kids singing along. It didn't look like it sold out but it was sorta close. I can't wait until they came around again on the Rise Against tour.

that was one of the most amazing shows ive ever been to, ive been to the knitting factory a lot and its never been that packed, they are an amazingly talented band who deserve all that they get and i hope they keep it going because its incredible, i cant wait to see them at looney tunes wednesday, roseland in october and any other time they come to NY, gaslight truly gives us hope in a time where music seemed like it was headed for the shitter, didnt expect a 20 song set that night, i was so happy, on a side note i also really enjoy polar bear club, i think they put on a great show as well and have a great frontman who's very enjoyable to watch
