no, its just that the fire pulls were always at the end of the day and the administrators never let us out when it was time to leave. We had to stay like extra 10 min. at school. That and i liked my classes, =P

Honestly, the worst mistake I made senior year was not have a job. After highschool, theres a lot less most parents let you do around the house for cash, and your going to need extra money if you move out or go to college.

I also recommend trying a bunch of very dumb things: smoke, drink, have crazy sex, and do some drugs. Sounds like bad advice, but your not going to get another chance, and I personally think part of being alive is trying to experience as much as you can. Most people don't take very hard classes their senior year, so it's that one year where partying is a lot safer XD

Don't slack off too much. I did pretty good until senior year (3.9 cum), but then failed some classes and ended up with like a 3.3 cum. I mean, I guess it doesn't really matter. I also developed the habit of ditching class everyday and wound up on contract and with the permanent record title of "habitual truant."

These are all just natural occurrences of senior year though. And hook up with some freshman. I did that too.

I didn't have to worry about impressing girls or anything, and we had sooooooo much fun. Plus there were all girls schools in the area so it's not like we couldn't meet girls. I met plenty of girls so it didn't really hurt me. I was skeptical at first, but I'm so glad I did it.

wow i guess i disagree with mostly everyone on here. My senior year was by far the hardest year in high school. I was completely miserable the entire time and i hated it. It was so much pressure to graduate and the classes were much harder. I was so so so sick of school, it was terrible. Senior year to me meant the realization that when HS was over i would have no close friends nor girlfriend to show for it and that really bummed me out. It was honestly probably the worst 9 months of my entire life. If i had to do it over again i would honestly slit my fucking throat.






But college is fun! The people are nicer and the classes are better and i'm much happier! woot!

Freshman year wasn't difficult for me really, but it's freshman year so then again it shouldn't be too bad. So far sophomore year isn't too bad as long as you stay on top of your work.

My high school was overly competitive which I think helped a lot in the long run for doing work in college.

just relax, and make sure you scope out some colleges, and set up to go to them during normal school hours, idk if u can but we had 5 days we could give to visiting possible campus', that is if you plan on goin lulz

senior year of highschool = THE SHIT. i just did whatever, but i had a gf so i couldnt really get to do everything if you know what i mean.

Freshman year wasn't difficult for me really, but it's freshman year so then again it shouldn't be too bad. So far sophomore year isn't too bad as long as you stay on top of your work.

My high school was overly competitive which I think helped a lot in the long run for doing work in college.

Senior year was a great year though.


sr year was awesome for me... all my classes were electives and it really didnt matter if i passed them (.. i did, all of them) my "hardest" class was a 9th grade history class i had to re-take cause i failed it in 9th grade. the teachers said to me

"we know you don't want to be here, take this packet when you finish you'll pass."

it took me 2 days to finish and i had a free period for the rest of the year. it was awesome.

Senior year was so much fun for me. All I have to say is if there's ever an activity that sounds like fun, don't be afraid to cut class to do it.

The president of the senior class in my former school last year got removed from his position because he skipped gym to go see Obama, even came back with an excuse note from Obama and still got in trouble. haha.

Actually, a lot of kids didn't get to get their diploma for skipping so much gym and having to make it up in summer school..

Nah, in New Jersey we don't get our license until we're 17. And even then it's only a graduated one. Basically no more than one person that's not your family in your car and you can't be out past 12.

The only thing that I'm really concerned about is writing a really good essay. It still hasn't sunk in that this is my last year of High School. It feels like there's so much that I haven't done, but I guess crazy partying and skipping is a bit out of the question though, since I noticed that a few of the schools I'm applying to have a check-up sheet for your counselor to fill out midway through the year after you're accepted. Oh well. At least I've resolved all previous conflicts with old friends, so now I won't leave school with that hanging over my head.
