Sony Pictures picked up the rights to Scholastic's Goosebumps series of children's horror books written by R.L. Stine and has hired two writers to adapt them into a feature film (http://www.firstshowing.net/2008/08/18/rl-stines-goosebumps-books-headed-to-the-big-screen/).

Each book has completely different characters/scenarios, so I wonder how this is gonna work.

I guess they just didn't have the technology needed to bring the intensity of Beast From the East to the big screen.

well this sounds like a pretty stupid idea.

My guess is that they're going to take the most popular books and put them all into one movie, maybe with a twist at the end where they all end up in the same room?:-|

TooLateF0rRoses

its going to be a four hour movie of someone with a pleasant voice to listen to(maybe morgan freeman after he recovers?) reading several of the books.

drudo182

I hope they do this version. People in the audience can scream and yell for what they want but as much as they do that, the final movie has already been created and there is no changing it. But the people in the audience don't know that.

It would just be a way to make them all look silly for paying $10 to see it.

Try this one. Ryan Gosling and Scott Speedman in the same scene.

I'm dead serious when I say that if I were making movies, I could make a fucking sweet goosebumps movie out of a lot of those books.

Each book has completely different characters/scenarios, so I wonder how this is gonna work. The Masked Mutant finds Monster Blood And has a new sidekick in Slappy The Living Dummy.

I believe my favorite was Deep Trouble or Attack Of The Masked Mutant.

I saw an ad the other day for a Goosebumps/Horrorland video game and got incredibly excited. Then I thought about it for a while and realized it will probably suck, but I want to play it anyway. I feel the same way about this. In all likelihood the movie(s) will blow, but I'll watch anyway.
