the next episode is awesome. theres all these plotlines with the characters that we learn about and we see more of the "creatures" that "lurk" the "forest". and more of the plane crash.

My sister and my mom are additcted to this show....I mean, they have issues. They tape it every week and then watch it over and over again until the next week. i really liked this show leading up to the end but the finale just disappointed me. rather than answering a lot of questions, it just left you with more. i was hoping for some type of closure but didn't get it and my patience is wearing thin. :(

i agree with the finale comment, however....no just that it left you with questions, because i thought that was partially a good part on the writers in order to keep the viewers interested

instead i was upset that the show turned a bit Sci-Fi...it was good as it was, the whole ghost thing on part of the show totally turned me away....

I liked the whole "others" idea, and then when i found out the robot/ghost/spirit thing, i shook my head a little bit

but on the most part, its an amazing show to say the least....every episode, as was said, made the storyline build up

So I watched my first full episode of Lost the other night (it was a rerun in preperation for the new season). I must say, after that one episode, I was hooked. Since yesterday I've started downloading all the episodes from season 1 and watching them. That is a damn good show and I'm disappointed I didn't start watching it earlier. It sucks too because the whole series kind of strings together so you somewhat have to watch what happened before to get what's happening now, hence why I'm downloading and watching all the old episodes. Damn good series. Keeps me on the edge of my seat, that's for sure.

Man alive. I didn't catch a single episode of this when it was on last season. But I bought the first season off of numerous recommendations and I LOVE THIS SHOW! I would go so far as to say it's even better than 24, if only because this show feels so much more thought-out. But, like 24, I don't know if I can handle week-long gaps between episodes, so I might just wait for season 2 to hit DVD this time next year. Just have to wait and see.

I read an article somewhere that said they have the story planned out and they could make it six seasons, providing it stays popular and the plug doesn't get pulled early.

no. I think thats true too. Its hard to keep up the intensity with something like being lost on an island. You are kind of limited to what you can do with it before you start getting dry.

Here's my thoughts on Lost. I watched the entire first season, and I enjoyed it. But I have some major problems with this show.

Seriously, enough with the backstories. Last season covered everyone's character, and we know where everyone is coming from. The beef I had with the premiere was all the backstory devoted to Jack. It's mildly interesting at best, but all that stuff causes....nothing to ever, ever happen with the plot. Seriously, what happened in the last 6 episodes of Lost last year? NOTHING. They saw a hatch, They talked to the lady. They got the hatch open. For an hour long show, I expect an hour long amount of events, like watching 24 or another suspense show. It kills me that I have to waste, essentailly, half of my time watching that show in order to figure out a mystery I know for a FACT won't be resolved anytime soon. Nothing ever gets resolved, there's no resultion, it's so obnoxious. Still, it's a captivating story and show in general, I just hate how it's executed.

We already know it's not a coincidence. They've made that crystal clear. They're just stretching the plot for as long as possible, it's ridiculous. They let the success get to them, even the producers have been quoted as saying "Hey, there's like 50 people on the island, we can do this forever." Ugh.

I love Lost, it's an awesome show. A big break from all those teenage shows that lack originality.. The Emmys were on last week (for me anyway, I live in Australia) and Lost won Best Drama, awesome.

Yeah i agree that how nothing is ever revealed gets very irritating..I think that people might lose interest if new things never happen, but I guess that's how it is. Nevertheless I still like the show a lot, I have to wait until next year until Season 2 starts though, damn.

I love this show, I got completely hooked after watching a small bit of an episode. I just hate how I have to wait an entire week now to see what happens next compared to when I downloaded all the episodes and could watch them one after the next.

Invasion was on after Lost on Wednesday night and I thought that was a pretty good show too. I heard that ABC did so good on ratings that night that some show on another network got canceled after only 2 episodes.

I've read tons of theorys, but i think its just people legit crashed on this island and there was a scientific experiement going on there (Dharma). If they're doing experiments, there could have been failed ones (monster) and people opposing it (others). I don't understand this one. When he was put on the flight, they carried him on. The first time we see Locke on the beach, he's lying on the sand with his legs sprawled out. The wheelchair is off to the side, presumably put in storage by the airplane staff, it must have fallen out onto the beach with the rest of the luggage.

Who attacked Claire in the caves? We heard a knife-like sound, but it was never established it was Ethan - he was more interested in taking her rather than hurting her.

This was solved in the last episode arc in Season 1, it was Rousseau that was after her.

So i watched lost last night and it was amazing, I didnt really have a good idea about whats going on because it was the first episode i watched, but i really want to get into it, im just broke and the DVD for season one is crazy expensive. Anyone have the episodes on their comp and wouldnt mind sending me them? PM me for real, i'm dying to get into this.
