Who?
Credited as Davide and Luca, these two Italian garage rockers lose little in translation in crossing the Atlantic (except logic - read those song titles!).
How is it?
Really, it's incredibly catchy. Sorry-OK-Yes sound like they would be from Sweden, not Italy, because they fit into the same scratchy-melodic category as the (International) Noise Conspiracy and The Hives. The group mess around with the disco punk beat, which is usually a huge pet peeve of mine, but they do it well. The authenticity of these moaning vocals (and the fact that these recordings sound like they were put together in somebody’s attic) might remind you of Boris, or maybe not; but it’s hard to not dig these tunes.
Plus, if it means anything to you, they are friends with Devo on MySpace. So there.
