bought the new used today, i think its different, like they toned down a little, does anyone agree? they still have total rock out songs like take it away and sound effects and overdramatics. but most of them sound slower (at least to me), if this doesnt make any sense just let me know that im a dumbass then lol

oh yeah anybody who actually bought this cd know who the guest screaming on "sound effects and overdramatics" is done by. that's actually one of the few decent tracks on the album.

...this was a shitty live performance.

"Soundeffects and Overdramatics" gets an A+, it's one of the only tracks on the CD that really gives me that old Used feel. Well, that one and "Let It Bleed".

I bought the cd this evening and after getting past the single and track two my friend made the comment sounds like bert beat up yellowcard and stole their notebooks... until track four we realized they didnt only steal their notebooks but their violinist as well

listening and i caught fire are the highlights for the album. They let me down. I was expecting something alot harder, like their first album. They still rock live and I look forward to seeing them in October. Wish they didn't go pop. Oh well!

I agree that it is worth a listen. There are 3 good songs on it (in my opinion): tracks 1, 2 and 12. But I would really just download. You don't want that angry, heart-breaking feeling one gets when they wait soooo long for an album by one of their favorite bands and then it finally comes out only for you to be really, really dissapointed. Download it guys, see for yourself. They changed.
