hahaha, dude I was just making fun of your spelling. But I agree who cares what you call music. You can call whatever you want emo, everyone else has different views of it, it's not hurting anyone. It's like debating whats punk or not... everyone has different views. Personally I would call brand new and mcs emo too, but more for who they tour with and stuff than their actual sound. It helps people who dont know a band know what you are talking about. I mean, calling a band a "pop rock" band is going to confuse people, isn't it? If you are telling your friend about this great new band you are gonna use stupid terms to describe them, ones they will understand.

I guess in the end it's not what the band sound like, but what people relate it to. Like, if I tell a kid into pop that I like punk, they will be like "oh, blink and simple plan and stuff?" But if I tell it to say a kid into old school stuff they might be like "sex pistols and clash style or 80's hardcore style?" It's all relate to how much you know about music, and who you talk to.
