Why is the bass mixed so incredibly during Predictable? I think they're gonna start what Metallica did. I'll give them some credit for trying something different. I think they saw what some better bands were doing and actually tried improving on that in some songs...they fell short of their goal, but props for trying.
I Just Wanna Live (or whatever) sounds terrible, although I think a couple of tracks weren't that bad...Track 6 was probably my favorite of all of them. I like how they didn't just rely on what had mad them popular.

Overall the effort comes off as cornball and hokey...it sucks because as Good Charlotte, it comes off even more hokey than if a less popular band would have done it.

Either way, nice shot, better luck next time...its a shame that you've got such high expectations to meet...and it's also a shame that you recorded some songs on there that sounded just plain terrible.

Anyway, like I've said before, great CD. I Just Wanna Live and Predictable are really the only bad songs on the album, but I Just Wanna Live is catchy as hell. Great chorus.

It's funny that if this was some band that wasn't GC and MTV never once played them, half of you would love it.

Walk Away, SOS, Secrets, Mountain, The Truth, and We Believe are pretty good songs. The first verse of We Believe takes a stab at the Bush administration and the Iraq War beautifully..a mother grieving for her lost son in Iraq.

Better than the second album, inferior to the debut album, but I think this album has some of their best songs and their worse song by far on this record.

I'm always amazed by how many responses any news about Good Charlotte receives. Yet, no one will ever admits to liking them.

I like them. I like this CD. The guys took a chance, knowing that the falsetto flavor wouldn't be well received by their audience (including people who listen to their album just to bash them).

Although "The Truth" is pretty annoying.
