You can listen to 30 second clips of 2 new Bright Eyes songs at the Saddle Creek (http://www.saddle-creek.com) site. The songs are titled "Take It Easy (Love Nothing)" and "Lua". Both will be released as singles on October 26th.

Does anyone know if these are one song from each of the records? because the first one does seem somewhat digital, and the second more folk-like. And i know those are the two themes for the upcoming releases

yeah, they're both from different albums. that's why he's releasing two singles at the same time; one from each record.

Yeah I think he's a big fan of Nelly, so he's working from that angle.

perhaps this answers my question, but has conor been playing a lot of these songs live for a long time? he played lua when i saw him in february...oh these albums will be awesome.

I don't know why I thought "Lua" was an old song, probably because I found a really poor recording of it on Kazaa and assumed it was old because of the recording quality. Oh well, I'm looking forward to both of Conor's new albums.

I was going to go to his 10/9 show in austin but it's like $28. Don't get me wrong I love Bright Eyes but I just want to see him not have sex with him
