yeah, i'm in deep shit with my parents becuase they are threating to pull me off of the cross country team if i don't bring up my grades. f in ib english f in ib history, d or c in psychology, b in spanish honors, a in math and a in p.e. i don't know if i should dorp my ib classes or what? i've always have been lagging in english and history for six years in a row. i'm thinking of going into my eng. classroom during lunch everyday and do homework. i barely get sleep(6 or less) i wake at 5:30 am, don't get home till 6 pm, sleep around 11 or 12 sometimes 1 am. what should i do??????

And to threadstarter: drop SOMETHING. First of all, it's your fault for getting the bad grades. . .in order to gain something, you have to lose something first. Personally I recommend you drop cross-country, since you can just run all by yourself on your own time (as someone mentioned above earlier).

Yeah same here (in California). Plus, if you get really good grades in your AP classes and are consistent with them, it's even possible to start college as a sophomore.

Yeah. IB is above AP. AP are classes you take before you can start IB. IB starts in like...junior year I think.

thanks for yous guys and girls and creatures replies. and in the past two days that i have posted this thread i'm pretty sure that i'm going to at least drop my ib history class.(sorry for not explain ib to yous) i really don't want to drop my ib english class though, i enjoy the teacher and the classmates in the class, but i'm number 30 out of 30 in the class. cross country is the only way i can compete. and i love running and being challenged in it.
again thank yous peoples and i'll let yous peoples know what i did about my classes soon.

just drop one, and if you still can't cope, drop another. it doesn't matter how fucking advanced the classes are, if you are 30th (last) in the advanced class that's even worse than being in the normal class and coming anywhere but first.
to you, that is. here, if you take harder classes your results get marked up, so, scholarly, its prolly better to take advanced classes and do your best.

heys peoples, talked with my advisor and inorder to go down to college prep history i have to drop ib english and history. Or i can stay in ib history and drop down to cp eng. but i can't stay in ibeng. and drop to cp history. fuckin' system. so yeah, i'm going to drop both ib history and english to help out my gpa. at least i get to have my favorite teacher for history.
