My girlfriend dumped me in March and got a new boyfriend one week later. We dated for 16 months and she treated me like crap. I miss her but I think it definitely works out better this way for me. lol.

Things couldn't be better. Been with my girlfriend for almost three years now. We move in together in the fall. Can't wait.

haha i never had a boyfriend. only in elementary school i had "Boyfriend"s. all we did was hold hands and eat pixxie sticks. everyone hates me now.

I'm in a similar situation; it hasn't stood up to nearly as much time as yours, but we moved in together a few months ago and things have been continually awesome from the beginning.

She treated and treats me like crap; I still have a lot of feelings for her but she causes 95% of the problems in my life and I'm done trying to solve her shit for her.

Ha. Exact same situation. Except I broke up with her a few days ago. The relationship blew, so I ended it. Now she says she wants me more then ever?

Haha, having a pretty girlfriend used to worry me a lot because I thought it would complicate things or something (getting treated shitty, maybe cheated on haha). But it's proving itself not to be that way at all, so it's cool.

KidRobot, haha, fuck those types of girls. It's the worst when they want you back. Even if it's like a month or two later and they've had time to "think." Still annoying as hell.

Must be nice being 18, engaged and on your way to college.

im in the same boat too, i have had my gf for 3 years. (will be 4 oct 3rd) but shes been out of college and i just graduated so the plan is once i get a job in syracuse area she will move from vermont to live with me around here which im hoping is soon because long distance sucks. we have our ups and downs but i think she might be the one.

I unloaded mine a few months back. He just pissed me off for a long time before I ended it. This is horrible to say, but I kept him around for the sex, but later couldn't take it so I had to just finish it all together.

I was having a lot of girl(no friend at the end there) problems before I left Istanbul. Complicated. Then I found out there was a possibility of moving here, New Zealand, and I just for some reason put all my other feelings aside and saw it as a way to "escape" from it, so to speak.

Well goddamn I regret that now. This place sucks.

I'm calling out all the "no boyfriend, no problems" responses (not seriously).

I dunno, sometimes I like being single I guess, but a lot of the time it's too weird for me. When I'm single and looking, I usually notice myself getting too much attention from really creepy girls who constantly bother me. Then, when I hook up with girls they're usually not bad at all, but it doesn't mean anything - which is just fine, but not awesome or anything even if the actual "act" is good.

And this has only happened once, but it's scared me away from drunk hookups: this drunk-at-college hookup with this girl I honestly probably would never have even spoken to in real life (not enough in common, the random THAT college girl) turned into a really creepy situation where somehow she got my number and she would call me somewhat regularly for the next week. I didn't even know her name when she first called me back, and I would always have to make up excuses not to hang out with her until I eventually just stopped answering the phone.

Whereas right now, I'm in an awesome siturelationship (situation/relationship) where I really care about my girlfriend, we get along perfectly, and have had months since even the most minor disagreement/argument. Not to mention that both the communication and the physical side of things are both great.

While I'm keeping in mind that it's going to absolutely suck when our "time's up," I just never really think about it because I don't really see it happening any time soon. And I've kind of learned that a lot of times, when it actually ends, you've been waiting for/anticipating /wanting and ending for a while.
