Saosin (http://www.saosin.com), featuring their newest singer Cove (ex-Mormon in the Middle), will be releasing their next album in about three to four months. See them perform in California in October (October 7 at Chain Reaction with National Product, Over It. October 16 at El Dorado, in Lancaster, CA with Atreyu.)

cove sounds a lot like anthony, he cant scream though. i'll miss anthony, but cove will do fine. if anyone wants "i can tell..." or "mookie last x-mas" with cove singing, IM me.

Here is a review of last night's Saosin show... to be printed in the next issue of Skratch Magazine (www.skratchmagazine.com):

....Finally we get to the most anticipated band of the night. Less than four months ago, Saosin resurfaced with their new singer on a short session on the Vans Warped Tour. Their new singer, Cove Reber, previously of Mormon in the Middle, shone through with his vocal range (a mirror image of former Saosin singer, Anthony). Cove was quite the spectacle: between his goofy dancing on stage and crowd interaction. Befuddled by the polished sound that Saosin has captured, Cove has improved his vocal abilities since Warped Tour. I felt like a proud mother watching his son, as the crowd gathered close to the stage and chanted “COVE” in-between songs. Saosin played most of their songs from their 2003 release: TRANSLATING THE NAME. With ten minutes left in their set, Saosin performed an instrumental song that included a heavy breakdown. Meanwhile, Cove danced and played around on stage. Finally Saosin came to a close with their newest song “Bury Your Head”, which included all four boys upfront screaming into the microphones. This song will most likely appear on their forthcoming album, which should be released in three to four months. For updated information on tour dates and visual media, visit: www.saosin.com. ....

I'd feel really dumb if they actually played "I Can Tell..." instead of "Bury Your Head". But oh well. Writers make mistakes.

yeah i cant eather. i am really hoping this cd is sweet, i love the EP, and all the other songs they've done. Bury Your Head, is pretty good but i hope this isnt a sign of what the new album will be like. Anthony's new bands are pretty sweet too.

im not one to say why he left cause i dont know the exact reason but people have said that he got into the drugs a bit heavily and another reason was when they confronted him about it he got spooked and felt as if he couldnt be around them cause of his problem. but this is not fact its only me saying what i read or heard

he left cuz he just got really sketchy with it. i guess he was using drugs, and the band just got fed up with him. so he just stopped showing up, and they never really talked again. kinda sucked, i loved anthony. but his new bands are awesome too.

Actually, they did not end with Bury your head. Bury your head was like the fourth song they played. They ended with an old song. But you are right they did play a good set. Cove sounded very good. That was the first time I got a chance to see him play with the band and I think he fit in well. Good review brother other than saying they closed with bury your head.

No no no no no..... I talked to someone who is close friends with all of saosin shortly after he left the band and I found out why he did.... The band didn't give him much of a say when talking to record labels and they all treated him shitty... that is why he left. I had the privledge of seeing them when anthony was still in the band last year and it was like shortly after the ep came out or so... all of them seemed pretty cool. Anthony actually came up to me first to talk to me and shook my hand and stuff. (I was wearing a saosin shirt, lol) But either way... good luck to both Saosin and Circa Survive.
