come out and play, we'll be so gay, the sun will melt the pain away.
feels good, the sand between your toes, they say it's dirty but nobody knows.

yeah, yeah, yeah, nobody knows.
yeah, yeah, yeah, nobody knows.
yeah, yeah, yeah, nobody knows. (are you stuck in the brine?)
yeah, yeah, yeah, nobody knows. (freedom could be thine...)

ciome out and play, let's cry all day, and melt the cold look from her face.
the season's fine, take off your clothes, they said that you're ugly, but nobody knows.

yeah, yeah, yeah, nobody knows.
yeah, yeah, yeah, nobody knows.
yeah, yeah, yeah, nobody knows. (are you stuck in the brine?)
yeah, yeah, yeah, nobody knows. (freedom could be thine...)

yeah, and you can SEE yourself
and you can BE yourself
and you can FREE yourself, all by yourself!

come out and play, you're locked away, i wanna see your pretty face.
the season called, got the machine, just wanted to know where've you been.

yeah, yeah, yeah, nobody knows...

run from your sights, you know i'll give it a try
i tripped over myself back when I had eyes
*unable to transcribe... my friend wrote and sang this line*
leaving all doors and mountains behind

I really like this actually. Haha.

You'll get shat on, probably, if anyone even reads this. It'll be labeled stupid/whatever. But I like it. It's got this kind of vibe that I can't even describe or put into words, but it's something familiar without being something cheesy. Very nice.

"the season's fine, take off your clothes, they said that you're ugly, but nobody knows." - That's absolutely brilliant.

I didn't like 4 times repetition of the nobody knows bit, and I thought that the 'freedom could be thine' line seemed pretentious. As for the song, I liked it, particularly the middle section. I agree with James though, it's a got nice vibe to it without being cheesy.

I added you to myspace.

Hahaha, I'm sorry, but I thought the first line was just ridiculous. The song was decent, you did a good job.

Sweet. I'm glad you liked it!

hey thanks for listening and the feedback. hm maybe I should reduce the amount of yeahs and put more time between them. I think the "freedom could be thine" might be pretentious sounding too, but if said in the right spirit, being just for rhyming and conveying the message, it might not be so bad.. I'll think more about it.
add accpeted, thankyou!

Heh, do you mean "come out and play" or "come out and play, . . . pain away".

come out and play, we'll be so gay, the sun will melt the pain away.

Think he means all of that. Mainly the "we'll be so gay, the sun will melt the pain away." And I have to agree - it put me off at first, but the rest of the song made up for it.

hm, it would be really hard for me to revise those lines out. I'm really fond of them.

Well keep it then if you're really fond of them. I'm not, so I wouldn't, but that's me.
