Is the CD as good as the songs on the purevolume site, Jared? All these titles are just messing with me...
And good job with the news...you're making my math class interesting.

I'm assuming you know that these are This Providence quotes. I'm LOVING the album. I haven't listened to anything else since Thursday night besides a few spins here and there of Sum 41 and Acceptance, but for the most part, this album is taking the cake for most amount of time rocking my ears. I think a LOT of people will be loving and talking about this record - I sure hope so at least.
PS - Those songs on pureVOLUME are really good, but I think there are ones that are even a lot better than those. What do you think of the songs up on PV?

They sound fresh and exciting...it's been rare for bands to hit me like that recently. The energy that comes out of the double-punch of vocals on the first on song on the purevolume page literally dropped my jaw. I love the softer one, I wanna say its the third one on the site...But I honestly don't want to listen to them too much because I don't want them to sound old come November 18. But this band will be getting my money, and that means something seeing as its fall and I've become a poor college kid again.

Well, I can guarantee you that it'll be worth your money if you loved the double punch vocals 'cause the band pulls it off well and just the whole album has "that vibe." The disc is definitely going to be pretty high up on my list of favorites for the year come December - just not sure where yet 'cause there were so many good releases this year.

yeah, it's just guests until they find a permanent replacement.
i would go with sum 41 on conan. 1. conan is hilarious, 2. sum 41's new cd is actually good, 3. tbs' new cd is awful (though that's just my opinion) and 4. i've never seen tbs play well on tv. their sound is always awful.
but what really matters is rilo kiley and interpol on conan this week (today, friday) and jimmy eat world on conan next week (thursday).
so is TBS not going to be on or what?

...
the late show is still on, there's just no permanent host yet. so yes, tbs will be on.

i think he left because he wanted to go out on top. [somehow] ratings for the show had steadily increased since he took over. but yeah, he wasn't funny at all so i don't know how that happened. i just thought he seemed arrogant.

actually in his run, he won a lot of critical praise...i know the trib just ran an article on him that was pretty favorable.
dude they should book TBS on connan that'd be like the best of both worlds, and then connan could interview them after they play and we could all get naked and go crazy and it would be pretty cool....
