freaking awesome. i have a bunch of his live shows on my comp. and he is insane. he records himself while playin and then plays it durin the song so he can do a different part, his shows are so sick. in the middle of a song he will bust into a brand new song and then go back to the old one and make it seem like it was part of it. i recommend him to everyone

I like a lot of GOOD bands.
you just wish half the bands you listened to had half the talent howie has. listen to any of his live songs and be blown away.
All the bands I listen to have more talent that Howie Day, and they all have amazing live shows, which comparitively make Howie Day's live shows look horrible.

ya there was an article about his use of pedals to expand his sound... i.e. a few percussive taps on the guitar body looped becomes his rythm section. he is fairly engaging live. Ive seen him twice, once in Austin opening for O.A.R. and again during the Austin City Limits festival this year.

thats awesome. my roomate just saw him on tues night in charlottesville, va. it was just howie and he said it was incredible. i didnt get to go cuz i had a test the next morn but i seen him already so it was ok to miss.

sorry to say but howie day sucks live. i saw him 2 weeks ago when he played with dashboard, and he was horrible, he didnt even sing or play the guitar durning half of his songs he just bent over and adjusted some crap on the floor. it sucked

Its definitely fast, and has a ton of stuff. Lots of rare stuff. Like before when I was looking for Saosin, I type them in, and got around 400 hits. Its pretty sweet. I don't know about viruses though
