In my never ending quest (so to say), to improve my writing "abilities". I picked up this book, The Brothers Karamazov. It's Really interesting, even though I've only read two "books" of it (The Book is separated into "Books" and those books have the actual chapters in them.) So I decided in all my teenage triumph of reading a hundred year old book, to write a song about it. Some of the rhymes are iffy and it's the second song I've ever written in the "Verse/Chorus/Verse/Chorus/Bridge/Chorus/End" format, the first being "Torso Boy".. A romance about a boy without legs or arms.. But yes, Please read these lyrics.

(Sorry about writing a paragraph.. wow..)

A Nice Little Family
There’s the man, our self-righteous father
His faults are what brought death to our mothers
We are now a family, diverse indeed
Spreading from that old man’s perverse seed

“Here’s a thought, why don’t we gather?
We could share our thoughts together”
Oh, no, maybe it was a joke, or maybe not

“Just Don’t Worry Alexi”

Pass by the church, what a nice little family.
If you could hear the words spoken, you would be
Shocked, and you’d most likely change your mind
But who here would think that, you must be blind

“Here’s a thought, why don’t we gather?
We could share our thoughts together”
Oh, no, maybe it was a joke, or maybe not

“Christ, please prepare my son for
His life without me to guide and to adore”
She said frantic, yet, lovely
Tears pouring out from her beautiful eyes

“Here’s a thought, why don’t we gather?
We could share our thoughts together”
Oh, no, maybe it was a joke, or maybe not

It was okay. I liked the chorus, but that's about it. Just seemed like something I've read many times before.
