I personally think it sucks my dick. I WISH, with all of my heart, that they would write just one song that's not a love song. They have so much potential but they waste it on strictly love songs. They've helped pussify punk. But they are one of my favorite bands. I just have to be harsh.

And I wish you would get shot in the head. But all of our dreams won't come true.

The Starting Line is a decent pop-punk band, they have some good tunes, and some ones that make you want to cringe...

yeah, because the Ramones didn't write any love songs or they weren't a glorified pop band or anything...

i like the starting line but sometimes i think that if you joined all the songs together you wouldn't be able to tell where each song begins and ends.

i like the acoustic ep.

I liked them a while ago. but i havnt heard any of their recent stuff, does it sound basically the same? as others have said, they have a few good songs, and they are a decent pop-punk/emo band. I saw them in concert and they put on a good show.

Their new stuff sounds pretty good. Especially the "I'm gonna tear your ass up like we just got married" song (Bedroom Talk).

They do put on a great live show, and are really nice guys.

i thought that not all of those "new demos" that have been floating around (the ones that were on mirc and stuff, not just those two new ones on their pv page) were actually new...i heard that a few were actually old demos they never used.

I like that "Surprise Surprise" song

Yea i also liked classic jazz.

I agree though The Starting Line could be really good if they diversified their topics.

Holy Shit, the Starting Line can't possibly suck more cock. I saw them with Brand New about a year ago and they came on after Brand New, which confused me because Brand New is a much better band. And then they played for so long and it sucked. What I'm trying to say is, The Starting Line is horrible.

i'm not sure. i really like some of their song. cheek to cheek but the old version, gregs last day, left coast envy, dram summer, piano song, leaving, and a few more. but i dont like the new demos so much. that bedroom talk song sounds like it was written by a 15 yr old...

Uh, doesn't that go for 90% of the bands in this GENRE?! Okay, okay, maybe 89%...
