I saw some pretty amazing shows at fireside back in the day. Metro is the best place to play in Chicago now.

Ive only been to the Double Door. Small place.. has the same vibe as a Northstar Bar... or a smaller TLA.

i like the metro because its convenient, decently sized and usually not to expensive. they also host a lot of free shows there.

While Metro is the clear favorite all of these other venues are great as well. I have never been to a bad show at the House of Blues before. Reggie's is awesome, got to see Finch play their reunion show there. I kind of group the Riviera, Congress and Vic together because they all give the same vibe to me. Like someone else mentioned why isn't The Beat Kitchen on here? Seen a lot of cool shows there, including The Bled which was fucking insane. Fireside was cool back in the day as well, but I've only been there once and it was for Senses Fail.

They played in March of '06 a few months after Found In The Floor was released. Actually it was their first ever headlining tour. Protest The Hero opened, but Rody was sick so it was an instrumental set. Then As Cities Burn played, and it was when they still had their old singer, way before Come Now Sleep. Then Since By Man played and finally The Bled.

One of the best shows I've ever been to. All high energy bands in such a tiny place. Fear Before The March Of Flames is playing there in September and I am absolutely stoked for that.

The Beat Kitchen fucking rules!

I'm sorry but the metro is not my favorite, its good that its small but it has no fucking air condition and that just fucking sucks
