i just finished a book yesterday that i started yesterday. i couldn't put it down because it was so...i dunno the word. it was just one of those books you don't want to stop reading because you want to know what happens next right then and there.

but, anyways, it's called "america". it's written by e.r. frank and it's really amazing. it's a two point of view book, but both points of view are by the same person. it's about a boy named america and it tells the story of his life in the present and when he was growing up. in the present, he's in a mental institution and in the past, he describes numerous things that led up to the point where he is now. he talks about sexual abuse from his uncle, living in central park, crying for almost a full year, almost killing himself in a previous hospital. it's really powerful and there are lots of twists in it.

if you get offended easily by language, then you probably shouldn't read this book. and if you don't like looking into the minds of messed up kids, you probably shouldn't read this.

i picked it up in the library at school and thought the cover was cool on it. i started to read it and it was totally different from what i expected, but i really liked it.

I thought this post was going to be about America (The Book), by Jon Stewart and the Daily Show. But it wasn't.

Sounds like a good book too, though.

i don't understand, how is it 2 points of view by the same person? it sounds cool, so i'm kinda intrigued....

well, it's him from his current point of view and a point of view from when he was a young child.

i guess there might be another word/phrase for what i'm talking about, but i don't know it because i'm not fortunate enough to learn such phrases in the hick school i go to. so, blah.

i was most definitely intrigued by this book, though.

I'm glad it wasn't about the Jon Stewart book, then I'd have to hurt you.
