After a nice long week off from the site I am back and finally clear of what has been going on in my life. I have finally dismantled all my demons and I now have a clear mind. With that being said....Here is this Weeks current top 10 that I constructed from my last recommendation forum.
1. Green Day ( 6 votes)
2. Jimmy Eat World (4 votes)
3. Straylight Run (3 votes)
4. Say Anything
5. NorthStar
6. Limbeck
7. Copeland
8. My Chemical Romance
9. This Providence
10. The Used
I wanna conduct like a focus group, somewhere around 5-8 people who want to enter a chat room with me and discuss each weeks top 10. I don't want to do this alone. I sorta want like a panel so we have a good variety of opinions involved. Email me at greg.thimmes@absolutepunk.net if you are interested.

This list looks almost like my list of best albums of the year. I might have to put Name Taken and Sum 41 on there though.

This list is good, but the Garden State Soundtrack is absolutely mind-blowing. I
i would add this day and age, and take off the used, also Melee has been getting alot of play

this is pretty much a list of top 40 pop punk. hopefully, eventually you'll branch out greg. i approve of limbeck, this providence, copeland, and say anything, tho. where's the love for the blood brothers, black keys, and q and not u's latest efforts?
also, the new used cd should be used as a coaster for a sweaty beer. no offense to those who like it. offense to the band for putting out such a lame album.

Agreed. Wicker Park's soundtrack is even better though.

nice Top 10...Almost all the albums I thought were amazing are on there. I might of put Jimmy Eat World at #1 though and Green Day at #2 and Race The Sun should be put on there as well. Definitely agree with MCR and Northstar as well, definitely awesome albums.

like anyone else around here besides you and me own anything by the black keys. anyone who lists my chemical romance and the used in their top ten are obviously not ready for that kind of talent.

yes, blood brothers crimes is an awesome record, and should definetly make it to that list. Q and U's new record is alright, i haven't gotten into it too much yet. No Kill No Beep Beep is probably their best I think. Haven't gotten a chance to listen to black keys but will do so when i can. Has anyone checked out Earlimart's new album Treble and Tremble? Fans of elliott smith will enjoy it deeply. Also, I've heard good things about The Arcade Fire's new record, can anyone confirm if it's as good as reviews say it is?

Northstar is one word.
Take out Straylight Run and put Northstar in that place, then replace Say Anything with Name Taken and there you have it.
