(i need a title)
Verse 1-
My heart is black from the dust on the roads,
I wanna reach out but learn to let go.
But now-a-days the economy’s down,
U got a frown and cant get ya self off the ground.
Want a lift? Cause u need help to get through these times,
The war rages in iraq, what’s goin through the soldiers mind?
Cause they prolly got family back at home,
But they stuck in that dump with no where to go.
Cause we all kno pres aint bring’em back.
Grab ya self a mic and start screamin the facts.
Cause who knows maybe some one will hear,
But times like these it’s the least of there fears.
Cause we standin hear with our ears wide open,
hopein, tht he’ll fold and start soakin,
it all in through his mind,
but until we get there relate to this rhyme.
(chorus is slower than verse)
Chorus-
cause all the soldiers got is a knife and a gun,
they fight for our freedom, while were having fun
(Repeat 2x)

While all this is goin on the rich people sit back,
And rock in there chair with nothing to do but laugh.
While we sit and complain bout the price of gas,
They party, drink and spend money out they ass.
While were still fightin for our rights,
All they care bout is peace at night.
And while money is tight
We cry in the dark, wishin for light.
We still don’t understand why were livin to fight.
So as our life goes on we’ll rumble to the end,
While the soldiers carry away there friends.
And they read the message from home it was sent.
And the rich still laugh while money wont be less……
Than a feature in there selfish lives,
Our loved soldiers watch there loveing friends die.
