Jonathan:

• Nada Surf - "Let Go": Amazing record produced by Chris Fudurich (Rx-Bandits/Facing New York). Standout tracks include "Blizzard Of '77", "The Way Your Wear Your Head" and "Inside Of Love."

• Jimmy Eat World - "Futures": This record has been playing in my iTunes non-stop. My favorite tracks include "Work", "Polaris" and "Kill."

• Dashboard Confessional - "So Impossible EP": What an amazing EP.

• Various Artists - "Garden State Soundtrack": This amazing movie was really helped by a good combination of music.

• Straylight Run - "Self-Titled": I'll be first in line to buy this release. Ms. Nolan's voice is incendiary. Let the entire cd play all the way through.

Josh:

• Eels - "Shootenany": You can pretty much listen to any Eels album and you can bet you will be moved.

• Ryan Adams - "Love is Hell": I think when Ryan Adams plays quiet, slow songs, he is at his best.

• Jawbreaker - "Dear You": Sure it's a little old, but it is a quintessential album for the indie kid in all of us.

• The Streets - "A Grand Don't Come Free": This is the best album that came out this year.

nada surf is awesome. the best song is blonde on blonde

go see friday night lights. not your typical sports movie, way more artisitc. if you liked the book, the movie does it justice. plus the music is beautiful. it's by explosions in the sky, so obviously it's great, but it's just perfect for the movie

Pop-rock overload. Mix that shit up.

Good call on Jawbreaker. I was about 9 years late on Dear You... I still don't think it's anything fantastic, but I enjoy it.

yep Friday Night Lights was pretty good but not as good as I expected it to be. I still like Remember the Titans better as far as sports movies are concerned. Now that was an amazing movie.

aww dude, you gotta go with friday night lights. they're both good, and they're both true stories, but i've never seen a movie about sports that didn't involve dying that broke my heart like this did.
