You're right, it is an old song. It was on the bedroom demos, but for some reason didn't make the EP (which I think it should have). But it is a new version.

goddamn this record has been taking forever.

i'm not sure how i feel about jp anymore. i was really into them last year, and then they sort of disappeared between last october and skate and surf. i made it a point to catch their s&s set and it was disappointing, what with jamison wearing eyeliner now and neither him or parker seeming to be very enthusiastic about playing their set. anyway, that was just my take on it. i'm still looking forward to hearing this record once it finally comes out. i'm surprised their label let it carry on this long.
