Post-Highschool Relationship

Okay. I'm really good friends with this guy, he's one of my best friends. We've just finished highschool, and next week are our final exams.

A couple of nights ago we were talking online and he asked me out. I gotta admit I didn't expect him to tell me how he felt so I was a bit shocked.

I said i'd sleep on it.. so today I gave him the answer that I think we should wait until after our big exams. After all, i'm a big stress person and I didn't really want to put that on him during the following weeks. But I figure we can always give this a try after exams are over.

We'll probably talk reguarly still during exams. But when they are over, should I be the first one to say something about us or should I wait for him to bring it up?

Then heck yes go for it, I guess wait a day or so after your exams are over. He's not going to change his mind that fast, but he might not say anything, cause he may think that you don't want to try things, because you did put it off. So after a day or so, just bring it up and ask him if he wants to go to the movies and dinner or something. Thats what I did, and now I'm with the girl, and we are happy together... ahh, love.

hell yeah go for it!! if you think itll work..just bring it up. say that you thought about it, and got all the stress out of the way...and you think that you would like to make a go at it. i bet he'll be REAL excited!! :)
