i listened to a song off the new sum 41 record a couple days ago just to see what all the hype was about. my friend told me it was the best off the record. i forget what it was called but it was a total ripoff of "wonderwall" by oasis. that's my story. buy recover and blood brothers.

I was really disappointed when I downloaded that CD. I really like the song "Ohio is for Lovers." It's a shame the rest of the album was a big pile of shit.

Yeah, "Ohio is for Lovers" was the only thing redeeming about that CD, the other 10 tracks were really weak.

clearly, if you had ever attempted to do so, you would have noticed that when one types an entire message in caps, the message reverts to your so-called "title of a book" typing.

also, to the douche bag who earlier wanted to know what else i listen to, so that he "can throw out all of the cds" i like, i shall throw down a small list of artists whose cds you can discard post haste: the blood brothers, james brown, glassjaw, muse (you can throw absolution away, really. the first two were much better), the black keys, big star, sage francis, allman bros. band, stevie ray vaughan, the roots, copeland, northstar, dr. octagon, jeff buckley, the matches, over it, moneen, every time i die, basement jaxx, the chemical brothers, pretty girls make graves, tribe, limbeck, gatsby's american dream, the bronx, radiohead, endochine, at the drive-in, the bled, massive attack, the smiths, the cure, waxwing, led zeppelin, iron & wine.

please throw out all of these cds right now, as i obviously have the worst and least diverse taste in music ever. to anyone who actually just read this who isn't the lame ass i was directing the message to, my apologies for wasting your time.

10/12/04, 07:01 AM
all of you people who are against Blood Brothers are out of your minds. if you just listen to the music, it's some of the most insane, technical stuff you will ever hear. i have listened to nothing but "...Burn, Piano Island, Burn" to get ready for this cd. if you don't go out and buy it, you are missing out on one of the best bands in the business.

Cocky Caucasion
10/12/04, 07:07 AM
nothin really worth buying tomorrow.

Straylight Run is overrated and the cd got boring the day I d/l it so I just gave the cd away to someone else.
Sum 41 still sucks. It's nothing special. Their soft songs suck.
Recover got old too. The only song I can still listen to on that cd is simple, which is a great song.
I have a lot of respect for the blood brothers but personally cannot get into their music. so sew me.

I'm not spending any money today.
I might go see primer today since I dont have shit to do.

InaGreendase

If you could never get into the Blood Brothers, I'd at least give this album a try. It's by far their most accessible album while still acting as one of the most "out there" pieces of work available. At least download it.
