this might get long but please read. i dont know what to do and so i had to turn to my long lost friends from AP to talk to...
So my homecoming was last saturday and during that night my neighbor had a party at his house too. I was over there for a little bit saying hi and stuff and my friend said some girl he knew (that i didnt know) lost a cell phone. Most people were passed out about this time and so me and my friend looked around for it, through drawers and cupboards and stuff. we couldnt find it so i went back to my house.
im at my house and i find a phone but its dead, so i continue to just hangout at my house with all my friends...then i go back to my neighbors a while later and tell my friend that i found a cell phone at my house but its dead, he left to go look for it and i tripped over some shoes and fell, me being drunk laid there for a while then finally got up. I go back to my house and nothing is wrong blah blah blah.
i wake up the next day to someones parents at my door saying i stole their daughters phone and money, i know nothing about this (this is not the same girl i helped look for her phone earlier the night before) So im just like what the hell. The mother claims whoever took their daughters phone called them that morning pretending to be their daughter and said a buncha screwed up things. which wasnt me but the mom claims it was my voice she heard, then her daughter said i sent my friend back to my house to look for the other girls stuff and while everyone was passed out at my neighbors i went through her purse....(well if you saw someone going through your purse wouldnt you stop them? or say something?) ... she obviously didnt see me cause i didnt do it!....
Then the girl who had lost her phone the night before...my dad finds that phone in my basement. which makes it look like i took hers too! i talk to that girl through people and get the phone back to her.
but im still be accused of taking money and this other girls cell phone and calling her house and pretending to be her! i didnt do this at all! and they now want to get the cops involved and stuff. they were trying to be like you were drunk blah blah blah, but i wasnt even that drunk, i had a few and i remember everything that happend that night.
i talked to the mom and dad of this girl and im just like 'im being completely honest i didnt do any of that, what more do you want me to say!' and theyre like 'we want the phone replaced and the money back otherwise we will go to the authorities'.....
i dont want to have anything to do with this anymore but i didnt take this girls stuff and i dont even know her!!! ive said all i could but they dont believe me, and i dont want them to use all those lies against me in court and have them charge me for stuff i didnt even do!!!
i need help what should i do!! im not paying for the girls stuff because i didnt take it and if i did pay it would be to get them to shut up and have this be over but theyll think im fessing up to doing it when i didnt!!
