Has anyone heard it yet? If so, where can I listen to it?
Any thoughts? I heard they're kinda going away from the whole deathcore scene.

He speaks the truth.
Their last CD was horrible, everything about it.
Scene Metal at its finest.
But they've improved, i still won't get their music.

I thought the EP and first album was pretty good but so far the new album sounds like Slipknot...well the first two songs released from it do anyway.

Yeah, these guys really suck. And Suicide Season is just a ridiculously stupid name.
Never really was able to get into Converge too much. I don't know why, just never appealed to me.
It's probably for the best.

Honestly, I didn't see how Bring Me the Horizon could possibly improve on the extremely original blend of hardcore and death metal that they already perfected on their 2006 debut record, Count Your Blessings, but I was wrong. It's no surprise they were named the best newcomer by Kerrang! magazine in 2006 due to frontman Oli Syke's witty and refreshing lyrics in a genre plagued by unnecessary anger and overused cliches in addition to his unique vocal style with a screaming range that is truly unprecedented. Now that the whole Nottingham incident is behind him, you can tell it has given him a new confidence in his songwriting skills as this is clearly the most focused work of their young career and I for one can not wait to see where these truly unique and skilled Englishmen go next!

Fact.
The problem is with fans of this music girls are boys and boys are girls and everyone has so tight of pants that you can't get them fucking off and half of the time when you do you see some shriveled up nuts staring at you, but you're so horny you could really care less. So you turn on your Bring Me the Horizon and have awkward sex or what you imagine sex to be, exchange phones numbers and awkwardly text each other on your Sidekicks for the rest of the night. And repeat this process every other weekend.
Fact.

It's not music. It's noise that appeals to 14 year old girls with emotional problems. This fad of being scene willl die out shortly just hope they don't try and ruin hardcore next.

Truthfully, i like the new album.
Hated the old ones. This one's got a different sound, and yeah, it's like they're trying to distance themselves a bit.
I was recommended this. I'm going to give it a listen regardless.
As for the converge recs. I keep hearing about them whenever metal is brought up here.
What is a good album to try of theirs, just to know what the hype is about.

I HATED their old stuff, a bunch of scene bland disgusting metal,
But I actually like the new songs they have up, I might go and see them in London,
Although that's mainly because The Secret Handshake is supporting.
Go on, hate me haha.

This reviewer summed it up nicely.
As a whole, the band seems to be suffering from something I like to call Trivium Syndrome. Trivium Syndrome sets in when a band starts performing a song that was originally written by a band that they idolize (for Trivium this was Master Of Puppets) and then seemingly sticks with that sound for the next album (like Trivium did for The Crusade, which was more or less a Metallica tribute album). For BMTH, that song was Eyeless by Slipknot. Various "Slipknot-isms" can be found throughout this album, whether its in the way the drums and guitars are produced, or the rather simplified guitar work that sticks mainly to the open B string. Slipknot comparisons aside, the album is just boring.
Besides that, this band sucks. They're drummer is good though.
