The Bled (http://www.thebled.net) have tapped Darren from the band, Our Cure The Rocketship, (http://www.ourcuretherocketship.com) to fill in on bass guitar duties until January. No word on who the permanent bassist for them will be.

i saw them play on monday night and darren did a fantastic job. i've seen the bled live 3 times prior to monday night, and i must say darren has much more talent than mike ever did when it comes to live performances. i just hope the bled find a permanent replacement soon so they can start the recording process for the new album ASAP.

i saw our cure with the bled in tempe in june. they were really good.

i'm sure they could start recording with darren (or anyone), as well. they just need to find a replacement for when they start touring after the record comes out.

i was pretty bumed when i heard they lost their bassits. hopefully the one will be good as this one now.

today we parted ways with our long time friend and bass player michael celi. it was by far one of the hardest decisions we have made as a band. there are no bad feelings between us and celi, it was a decision based on personal differences that we felt we irreconcilable. we know in our hearts that this is what is right for the band, and we our excited for what is to come. the tours we have booked will continue as planned, and we will be the first to let you know what is happening when we find a permenant replacement. as for celi we wish him the best of luck and lots of love, we know he will go on to do amazing things.

That's quite a big thing to say, but it still gets me excited about seeing them again. I agree with your last sentence as well.
