Does anyone else find public displays of affection really really annoying or is it just me? It's not like you can say "oh you don't have gf so you wouldn't know" but I do...I have one who barely see...and I'm tempted to just hug and kiss the shit outta her in front of the world but I don't because when i see others do it...it is seriously vomit inducing. God...I mean...it's cute and nice to see an old couple kiss one another on the cheek...or hand holding or brief hugs...but when you see some chick in a mini skirt on some guys lap making out with him and his hands are glued to her ass...la;sfhkla;skdh;lasd!
I hate it.

I don't have a problem with it... maybe its just me, but my neck allows me to turn my head in the other direction, so I don't have to see it, and then I move on... could be just me though.
I'd never really do stuff like that and if any of my gf's did that I'd usually get mad at them. I usually just hold hands or maybe a quick peck on the mouth or something. But usually nothing past that.

It depends; if the affection is just a peck on the lips thats perfectly acceptable, but if it's a full out grope fest then I myself would probably come to your house and slap your mother and father for breeding.

If people are hugging, holding hands, or kissing in a distinctly non-super-sexual way, I'm fine. But if we get tongue action and drool and heavy breathing, it becomes problematic quickly.

I don't have that much of a problem with it, as long as the people are attractive ha. When its like some fatass trailer trash chick on her 90 pound husband with a mullet then I shall just turn me head because that should be illegal. But I am probably guilty of PDA, actually I am guilty of PDA but not 100% of the time, only on dates. So I guess I could go either way on the topic.

haha i know, but you're with your girl or guy all the time, i don't see nate for weeks at a time it took us about 20 minutes to walk off and be by ourselves, which in my opinion, was 20 mintues too long

Like last year there were these kids just making out on top of my locker and just pretty much going at it. And I had to get into my locker while they were on top of it. PDAs are just fine, I love seeing guys in their late 20s / 30s grab their girls ass or something, its hilarious I always cheer for them or give them a nod of acceptance.

it's called common courtesy. there's a time and a place for everything.
I fully support anyone that wants to have PDAs, just as a general rule though, its a good idea to make sure you know who the girl is. Otherwise they get all bitchy and you end up getting hurt physically or kicked out of the venue, its not worth it. Trust me on this one.

The only reason I don't like PDA sometimes is because I'm bitter and don't like seeing it because it reminds me of what I don't have at the current time. If I had someone to do it with, I wouldn't care abotu others doing it.
(If most of the people who whine about it so much had someone to do it with themselves I'm sure they would).
Its not like couples decide "oh, lets gross other people out".. They just want to be affectionate and don't care what other people think about it. I think thats respectable, and its actually kind of nice

I hate it, and I don't think I could bring myself to do it.
Over the summer I was at this park in Delaware with all of my friends and my girlfriend (who was horny/high) comes over to me and pulls me down right on the grass and starts passionately making out with me five feet away from all my friends who started cheering me on.

It's not for me, I'm a private person. But if I'm walking down the street and happen to come across a PDA, I usually don't mind it.. I mean, I can turn my head and I don't need to watch it. But lately I've been pretty bitter about it because I want a boyfriend and I don't have one. And that's my two cents.

my last bf was all for PDA's. it got annoying after a while because we'd be with others, but he wouldn't care I guess. he'd simply start by holding my hand, then kiss my cheek and then move to my lips and not get off there! and our other friends were like in front of us too. or we'd be watching movies with them and all he wanted was to make out or something. one of my good friends said to me, "your bf can't keep his hands to himself, huh?", and just the other night actually, she said, "I'm glad you broke up with him cause he was a horn dog". :lol2:
but yeah, totally against PDA's.

ugh... you should try living with my twin sister. whenever she has a boyfriend, she spends all her time full on making out in public with him, especially when i'm around. it makes me want to vomit. i've tried asking her to tone it down when its right infront of me but she doesnt. it sucks.
i dont mind it with other people usually, unless its when were all talking or something, and they just start going for it. thats just rude.
i think i'm just one of those bitter single people t the end of the day though...

yeah i really dont need to see people making out when im at a store or something since i can see that on tv where everythings okay to do and theres no boundries..i do agree that holding hands and hugging and stuff similar to that is ok but yeah making out in public is just disturbing
