Is it possible or would I be struggling?
I took Precalc my sophomore year and AP Statistics my junior year. Pretty much, I forgot precalc. Now I am signed up to take AP Calc, but I don't know if I should switch out of it.

if you've got the time to devote to it, go for it. it's definitely possible - i'm not math oriented at all and i made it w/out pre-calc. plus, it's easier to spend time on it now then potentially having to take a math course in college.

might as well try, and if you were able to take AP statistics as a junior, it sounds like you can handle it. AP Calc was hard as balls for me, but I'm not a math genius. It'll be worth it if you pass the test and it looks good on college aps that you are still taking hard classes during your senior year.

You're pretty much fucked.

should have done it. Pre-calc doesn't really have much to do with calc.

I took AP AB Calc my junior year of high school without any precalc and I got a 5 on the AP so I think I did fine

Why didn't you go Pre-Calc - AP Calc - AP Stat?
Not trying to be an ass - just wondering.

Cause I was stupid
I think you should be okay, and did you really forget ALL of it? Haha, maybe if you go review it'll come back to you. Precal is such bullshit anyways.

i'm sure when you get started pretty much everything will come back to you from precal. If not then i'm sure the teacher will be more than willing to help you.

pre-calc = cake
calc = cake
you'll be fine.
Uh, I never took pre-calc, then I took Calc AP, then I went back in college to take Pre Calc cause I was slacking and I didn't understand Pre-Calc, I did everything like I did in Calc and got a C, when I got 110% in Calc..... so yea, skip it if you can. If you don't want to learn the slow way.

I think it all depends on the type of person you are. Obviously you're a bright and driven individual if you have already taken AP classes. Just out of curiosity, what do you plan to major in? Basically, is math something you're going to further your studies in?

Before I took College Calc., my advisor heavily recommended that I take Pre-Calc first, although I had taken it in high school. My personal advice...take it while it's still free. I had to pay $1400 to just refresh my memory. =/

At least you acknowledge it. Hahaha.
It's cool - I'm sure you'll do fine anyway. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

At this point it looks like I'm staying in Calc.

I never took pre-calc, and I made a 5 on the AP Calc test. I only ever took algebra, geometry, algebra II, and trig, then Calc. Surprisingly, trig didn't help one goddamn bit with Calc, though it did help with physics. Just throwing all of that out there...

that's what I planned to do except I decided to be lazy and just stop after intermediate algebra haha.

i think you'd be ok since you've been exposed to the material before. why don't you ask your teacher what topics (if any) they recommend you review?

It's definitely possible to get through AP Calc without remembering Precalc just because the subject matter you learn is completely different (you deal with concepts that aren't introduced in Precalc such as integrals and derivatives).

The only thing pre-calc covers that algebra 2 doesn't is polar functions.
You'll be fine.

You should be fine. I've noticed that even if I think I might have forgotten something in a previous course I usually end up remembering it later on in different courses.
