It was a very tough call between Lagwagon and Bad Astronaut and I really like them about the same but I went with Lagwagon, since they have a larger body of work. And all of it is awesome.

If Bad Astronaut had continued to exist past Twelve Small Steps, I would like them more. But Lagwagon just have a larger body of work, like I said, and there's more to choose from, really. And they haven't made one bad album, really. "Trashed" is their weakest but it's still good.

It depends on my mood though. Some days I like BA more than Lagwagon.

It's amazing how the Caper puts out so many good albums. However, Twelve Small Steps is a crowning achevement in my book. I love that album to death.

Exactly! I think it's the reason why i picked BA. In fact i'm sure of it. However Blaze is another incredible album.

Yeah, plus their other two albums and the split EP with Armchair Martian are nearly perfect. But Twelve Small Steps is pretty much perfect in my eyes. Or to my ears. Whichever you feel is more applicable.

So i want to hear why people like Lagwagon more than Bad Astronaut.
Longevity for me. I've been a fan of Lagwagon since 1995, so I guess it ties into the fact that the band has been there for me all this time, as one of my all-time favorites. I also really dig the energy each member brings to the fold, and Joey's wit in his Lagwagon material. I love Bad Astronaut because it's a different side to Joey's creativity but I prefer Lagwagon.
