after "perpin" off of the staff, if you will, ive decided to go ahead and do a little recommendation thing. you can choose whether or not to care. just thought some bands needed a listening to.

saosin - obvious reasons, but i decided to include it since i cant stop listening.
listen here (http://www.myspace.com/saosin)

werewolf with robot hands - they play rock with some moderately fast guitar lines, drums of an equal pace, and superb lyrics. they recently got a new singer and i cant wait to hear him.

still remains - some 'kick your ass' metal from my state that everyone should hear if youre into metal and screaming and breakdowns that can peel your face off.

anthony green - just listen to anything you can find with him in it. hes got an amazing voice and he writes some darn good music. maybe hes overrated to some, but i actually enjoy his work. im not just trying to be cool :wink3:

onyxlovemagnet - some friends of mine from my town. they play some good metal with super fast guitar lines, and a really 80's sounding metal song that just rocks. they are breaking up which sucks, but what can ya do?
listen here (http://www.purevolume.com/onyxlovemagnet)

the natalie fight - these guys play some awesome music. screaming here or there, a little keyboard action. not sure how to really explain it, so just listen...its good. my friend corey from onyxlovemagnet just joined this band.

your best friend - more good friends of mine, and yes, from my city. they blend a lot of styles together, but have that classic pop rock sound at times that can make you snap your fingers. theyve been writing new stuff which has matured and progressed a lot. they also just picked a studio for a full length, so expect some things from them. ill make sure you do.

standard of living - piano rock in the vein of coldplay, something corporate, and straylight run. theyve been playing shows as of late with race the sun (another good band ot listen to) and ive talked to ken numerous times...hes a really cool ass guy. give them a listen, its catchy.

umm...i guess thats it. have fun and let me know what you think.

Here's my Sunday recommendations:

This Providence - If you haven't heard anything by these guys then you are missing out. Good stuff.

Underoath - I've liked Underoath since "The Changing of Times" and I know that most people consider that album "old Underoath"... but lately I have been listening to "Cries of the Past" and "Act of Depression" which are two insane albums, and what I would consider "old Underoath". So if you like hardcore, and haven't listened to either of these albums, then check them out.

Acceptance - I heard these guys not too long ago, and just picked up the EP today, and its good stuff. Check them out.

Denver Harbor - Everyone should know these guys already, but if you don't, its 2 old members of Fenix TX's new band. Their cd came out recently, and I suggest you pick it up. It's cheap and good.

Mae - What can I say? They are an amazing band. If you haven't heard these guys (which you already should have) then you haven't lived. And go download "Tisbury Lane" off of their purevolume site.

That is all.
