Third String Records is holding a Festival on December 18th in Plano, TX at the Plano Centre with over 20 bands in search of rising stars and as a fundraiser for the label. There will be 2 main stages and an acoustic side stage. Also, they are looking for sponsors to set up booths, a national act to headline as a special guest, and support from other labels with giveaways to handout to all the kids. If you would like to submit your band or are an intrested sponsor contact Mike @ Info@thirdstringpr.com.

I am putting on this concert and for all you Texans, i would like to know who you want to see. Let me know and they may be on the show. National acts and locals alike.

I'm from Dallas and I play Music.

Most dallas bands all sound the same, as a matter of fact, almost all Dallas bands sound the same. Most of it is shitty pop punk, screamo, or fucking gay ass whatever the hell you want to call it music.

If you are going to be putting on a show that doesnt resemble the shittiness of Yuppiefest or Ampifest then put good bands on the line up, add variety, and tell any band that resembles senses fail, fall out boy, or shitty hxc to fuck off.

oh by the way, I've noticed a new trend going around in Dallas these days, shitty bands that sound like Armor for Sleep or Riding Bikes that go from being poppy and soft into hardcore breakdowns. Not cool kids, not fucking cool at all.
Tell those bands to fuck off too. If you do that then everything will be ok. Your festival might be a little bit smaller but then it will be known for quality not quantity.

Id send in a demo but I dont have one recorded or a back up band to help me out so I'm out.

Wow I just wrote a fucking novel.
