It's pretty good....no that's a lie. It's fucking incredible. It's damn brilliant in terms of musicianship. They haven't exactly progressed forward much, but they've really outshined their last effort in a lot of subtle ways. It's not a transformation the likes of which we've seen from They're Only Chasing Safety to Define The Great Line it's a small step forward based on what was missing from the last record. I can't get over the fact that alot of folks seem to love A Fault Line A Fault Of Mine...but given their track record in regards to expectations for this album i.e. more TOCS, it's only fitting. The one thing that became ridiculously clear about Underoath now is that this is Spencer's band now. He's not trying to fill someone else's shoes, he's not here to please anyone. The lyrical content has taken on such a massive shift it'd be hard for someone to identify the band if their last listen was TOCS were it not for the clean vocals contributed by Aaron on a handful of songs. If you're still attached to Safety or you think you know all there is to know about this band, it's time to let go of it. This isn't the same band you saw on Taste of Chaos w/ The Used and My Chemical Romance.

The first two tracks are my personal favorites.
