iPod Touch or Nano?

Recently, Apple's been having this deal where any college student can buy a Mac and get a free printer and iPod of their choice- either Touch or Nano. I plan on going to the Apple store and getting the deal, but I want an opinion of people who have these iPods. I was planning on getting the Touch, because it just seems like it does more. Opinions anyone?

go with the classic.
Cause the Touch is real flashy, but holds little of what counts (The Music).

lol I have almost 30 gigs of music and only have a 30 gig and too poor to get an 80...so...i have to deal. but I would die with 8 gigs of music

i got the touch for its flashiness more than anything else.

So go with that. But I also have a 2gb 2nd gen nano which is nice to have.

I'm thinking the Touch, just cause the iPod you get with the deal is free, and the Touch is more expensive than the Nano, and has more features.
Might as well take advantage of the deal.

nano, touch just seems like it would start to wear down sooner but that's just my speculation.

i just bid on a ipod shuffle on ebay for $12. so cheap! the pink probably has something to do with it though.

Get the touch.
Sell it, and then buy a nano.
You should have some money left over.

Unless they cost the same. I haven't seen the prices but I just assume that touch would be more expensive.

I have a touch already, and I love it. I went with this deal and sold the touch for 300 cause they only give you the 8 gig

Nano goes up to 8 gigs.

If you're getting it as part of a deal, definitely get the iPod Touch.

I looked it up, you either get the 8GB Touch, or the 8GB Nano.
Either way, it's 8GB. I'm probably gonna go with the Touch, just cause it's the more expensive one, and hey, I want to get my money's worth.
What's going to suck though is switching over all my music from this laptop to the MacBook.

I have the touch and like it alright, but if you're really anal about smudges etc., then don't get it. My screen is pretty much constantly covered with fingerprints.

Your best bet it probably burning DVDs from your old comp, might take a while depending on how much music you have, but I don't really know what else you could do. An external hard drive would also work, or if you can log both of the computers on to the same network, you might be able to share the folders and pass them from one comp to the other, but I don't know if that would work or not.

I completely agree. I love my classic. and that was my exact thinking when I got it.
