Yesss I was waiting for that. Big D is the shit.
Futures is really good, but it's getting a bit too much praise I think. A lot of it sounds the same and isn't as good as Bleed American. In my opinion.

10/18/04, 07:35 PM
There's a Warren Zevon tribute album also out tomorrow, featuring "Ain't That Pretty At All" by The Pixies. Seeing as how Warren Zevon is and was amazing, he should also be up on that list. His passing is just as sad as Elliott Smith's, if not moreso.

Jimmy's new stuff is okay. The first track is a winner and there are one or two more that will save face. But all in all, I feel JEW could do better. They did better on the previous album, so I hope this doesn't mark the end of JEW's time.

my JEW should be here in the mail tomorrow, I was hoping today, but no such luck. Also, I will be getting ATFEH, anyone know what stores will be carrying it? Or if someone just wanted to send it to me, I could just pick it up at their show on Halloween.

picked up the Asian release of JEW, and though Shame is by no means a bad song, it pales in comparison to the rest of the album...dropping Trombino was a good move

I'm too lazy to read through all the replies, but I figure since Big D isn't that popular they have probably been overlooked...
Big D and the Kids Table's album - How It Goes comes out today.

I picked up the Showbread CD tonight, along with the new mewithoutyou and the first No Motiv - discovered those guys only recently.
Raw Rock Kills - SHOWBREAD is awesome, baby. We've hosted them 5 times in Spokane, and they always deliver the goods - great live shows - great guys. This is the first Showbread CD of that captures their sound - the first two were indie efforts - good, but not up the live performance.

what happened to the lead singer? he looks like a pretty boy now! that's not cool.
by the way...that mewithoutyou cd won't dissapoint; it's one of my favorite albums of 2004.
