Anyone just watch the rally? Thoughts on Biden's speech?

Personally, I thought it was a home run - can't wait to see how this all pans out.

It was great. Despite some slip-ups, they both captured each other well. Joe Biden has some really fun moments in his speech. I'm looking forward to seeing how they progress as a team together.

I was impressed by it. He is a good public speaker, and yes the McCain line was clever.

the speech was just ok IMO. he was the best choice for VP from that short list though.

Personally I dislike both candidates, but why are things said about McCain considered "clever" and "good lines" while anything said in the other direction is a personal attack? I would prefer serious answers over telling me that Republicans suck if that is possible.
