I think it kinda just showed how life is. All these diverse and random people step onto the same train. Watching how life is...is just interesting.

If by interesting you mean boring, then I agree. Its not that bad...but the whole idea is a little lame. I like the way the lines to the song are in the newspapers, advertisments etc. That was a nice touch.

about the video... i'll just keep it simple, IT'S SUCKS. it was so bad, i hated how everyone sand a line in the song, i also hated he part when they had a bunch of sceneries, i couldn't tell if it was a documentary or a video.

i guess it seems that im only one of few that was really struck by this video. i didnt know what to expect out of it and it just really did it for me. i really liked how the band members were more like spectators to everything else going on around them.

it all sorta reminded me about american beauty for some reason...theres so much beauty in the world and you just want to take it or somethin like that.

i know theres alot of people who are 'meh' about the video, but are there any others that were left speechless like i was?

The words throughout the video and how all the different people are in it are cool, but not the girl who sings the last line of the song. I like how some of it switches from sceneries to the subway too. It's good, but not the best.

I liked the video, and I like the song. For me, the whole subway thing, where everyone but the actual singers are singing, is pretty cool. I mean, like everyone said, it's nothing ground-breaking. But, really, nothing is in music. Everyone's just ripping off of everyone else. For some people, it's unconscious, and most don't even realize they've ripped, or where the rip comes from. Others, it's blatant, obvious, and even a complete idiot can see that they just didn't do their own thing. :headshake

Yeah, this video is boring. I do however, like all the little things they put into it, like playing the gameboy in sync with the song. I would have preferred a more powerful video for this song, to really emphasize it. Oh well, i can just picture my own music video in my head whenever i listen to this song.

I had been looking for this for a while.

i used to go by this:
It starts on F#, and ascends then descends in some weird variation of the F# Minor chord. F#, C#, F#, A. Then drop to the D below the first F#, follow it with the D Major chord (D, A, D, A). One step up to E, and you play something similar to what you did on the F# Minor, the unaltered chord on everything but the last note (E, B, E, A). Finally, play that last chord again, but drop the final A down half a step to G#.

As for the melody, it's easy as well- C#, D, E, and B are the only notes, I can't think of anything you could go wrong on there. Remember that after it comed down from the D and E, it doesn't immediatly sink to B, but plays C# twice.

The other part that everyone wants to know is the "Sing like you think no ones listening / you would kill for this / just a little bit." The notes are A, E, D, C#, D, E, C# for "sing like you think no ones listening." Play the "-ing" as an eigth and immediatly drop to A for "you would kill for this just a little bit" That's the C#'s and two A's.
