I don't enjoy many car races, but F1 rules. It is so much more fun to watch than Nascar and Moto GP.
Anywho, BMW Sauber, despite shit-ness. is my favourite team. Webber, the only aussie, doesn't deserve to be called an aussie.
Any one else like F1/watchin Valencia right now?

oh boy.... bad subject. We motor sports fans get shot down here.
I'd watch it but don't get SPEED in my room.

Well, fans of moto, even as green as me, get smashed too in f'n real life...! Yeah, Americans are just as bad as aussies in most moto sports tho,... I can celebrate something!
Im going to say this before this thread turns into some gay/tired debate or more drubbing about how auto racing isnt a sport and how dare anyone ANYONE bring it up in the forum.
So yeah F1 are the best drivers in the world as far as car control and the engineering and technology is superior. Im a fan its just hard to fallow here. I could compare to soccer with the UEFA being F1 and MLS being Indy car over here lol atleast by perception/reputation.

I'm such a Fisichella fanboy so I was going out of my mind watching the highlights (I was SO pissed I missed the weekend because I was out). I was a little dissapointed he didn't win though, he might have if not for the KERS system too, still, it is such an amazing result.
Predictions for who's gonna win the title?

yeah almost makes you hate kinetic energy, he really deserved to win. fisichella is now rumored with a link to ferrari if massa doesn't return next year, their current replacement(badoer) sucks big time, really wish michael schumacher had come in, he claims it was his neck muscles but i doubt it.
button has a huge lead so i don't think anyone else stands a chance, the real fight will be for 2nd and 3rd between barrichello, vettel and webber. but who knows anything happens in this sport also i hate lewis hamilton.

I think Le Man's is much better, so many awesome crashes and i love the flying lizard team because of Bergmeister, who is fucking amazing driver now if only he left and joined the corvette team

Fischi signed for Ferrari. Racing until the end of the season, then their main test driver for 2010, great way for him to end his career.
As for the title, any of Button, Barrichello or Webber for me. Vettel has plenty of years ahead of him. As long as we get exciting races for the rest of the season I'm not really bothered who wins.
As for MotoGP, I really enjoy it. Some great close racing, excitment in bucketloads.

Ton of respect for these guys, like the other US guys in here said I would be more into it but its real tough to catch a race.

I'm really glad he gets to live his dream but at the same time I was really hoping he'd still be racing for a couple more seasons like he was planning to before the Ferrari offer. Still, maybe next year a Ferrari driver will get fed up and walk out or something =p

He'll have such an easy season next season, be done by March as there's no in-season testing anymore. I think he'll get a couple of top 5's in the last 5 races, maybe a podium next weekend in Monza.
Still have no idea which driver will be where for next season, except Hamilton, Button and the Red Bull drivers; and obviously the notsosecret Alonso move to Ferrari. Should be exciting end of season with the championship battle and half the field fighting for a drive next year.

Who do you think Alonso is going to replace at ferrari though? I get the feeling it was probably Massa who was going to go (which I don't think would have been the right decision) but his accident has complicated things for them.

I always thought Kimi would be going, but now he's stepped up his game since Massa's crash. But before he seemed uninterested in F1, although his rise in form might have something to do with the WRC he done in the summer break. Alonso & Massa at Ferrari next season, Kimi will probably head into WRC unless he can get a drive with a big team. That's my prediction.

My Dad and I have a theory that the only reason he looked disinterested earlier this year was because he couldn't be bothered to kill himself by pushing a car to the limit when it's only just good enough to make the points. Plus he has one more World title than Massa. I'd really like to see Massa stay but I just have no idea.

Haha seems like a good theory, or he could have become more interested now as he's driving for his future.
Monza GP could be interesting, hope there's a chance of rain always makes the races a better spectacle.

Oh, Fisi can still drive for a team next year if the deal is right for Ferrari. He'll still be their main test driver as well.
6 hours.. love the japanese track.
Best race Ferrari's had all year.Got to say though Korea did a good job with the track but the weather really killed it. I can't help but feel really bad for Webber. 11 points separate him from Alonso and there's only 2 races left, i'm freaking out!
Top 4 are too close, what's surprising is not having a clear champion so late in the season.
Brazil is going to be INSANE!

Saw the ending of the Koren GP. Red Bull didn't have the best day and Webber got the bad fortune bug again. Vettel was wobbling and Alonso would have passed him anyway. Considering he was 50 odd points behind and most people wrote him off for the championship, he hasn't done too bad has he. Alonso just kept getting results, despite Ferrari not being as fast overall compared to McLaren or Red Bull.
Fernando needs respect for his tenacity that's for sure, he made it clear he wasn't giving up this season. He'll be hard to beat at Brazil.
Season has been awesome, but we seriously need more overtaking. The racing can sometimes get rather dull.

i won't argue with you there Alonso really stepped up half way through the season and i'm really going to enjoy watching him and Webber battle it out.
I don't find it that dull but on the other hand i do miss the days of Montoya and the lenient FIA. I hate him for going to Nascar.
Also it's the Brazillian circuit so i'm pretty sure there's going to be loads of overtaking. Looks magnificent!

Timo Glock has kinda disappointed me. Hasn't performed all year, or maybe it's just the car.

Timo doesn't have the best car in the world, but he's probably not bothered in the slightest. He's happy just happy to be racing.
Next seaon, the Virgin team might be more competitive.
Interlagos always puts on a great race. Championships have also been decided here and knowing the local weather it will probably rain.

Great!!!
The Restriction Agreement has been extended till 2017, Ferrari just confirmed it.
However there are a couple of minor changes with budget and staff.
Even though i hate this i think its the only only way to create stability within new team. Any thoughts?
