I figured if I critiqued someones work, I should at least submit one of my own. Enjoy! or not!

There's a sale on rope at the hardware store, use it to your advantage.

My conscious thoughts are bleeding again.
Staggering though, this seems like a good idea.
I can see myself hanging and I can see myself laughing. Its all over, and I'm laughing. This pressure is making it hard to keep breathing. The rest of my life. Band aids and cream wont solve this.
A respirator is my new lover. A stretcher is my savior. The ER is my place of worship and living through is my tragedy.

If you need an explanation please feel free to ask.

It sounds powerful...but I really don't understand the whole thing. (Hell, maybe it's cause I'm spanish)

Basically when I was at work this summer, I worked by myself, I didn't really talk to anyone while I was there, I was worried about a lot of things (my grandmother, the upcoming school year) and I just wasn't enjoying life. I was just "staggering though" life, taking hit after hit of anxiety. Baind aids and creams were in my medical kit (I worked as a lifeguard). A respirator is my new lover. A stretcher is my savior. "The ER is my place of worship and living through is my tragedy," is just be what would happen if suicide was attempted. I thought about it a few times but never anything serious. I was extremely frustraited with my life. This is what the poem is about, I'm sure someones going to be like "wow so emo" or something but hey, if you can't enjoy it I would understand.

If you can't enjoy it I can respect that.
