here we have a band that recorded a highly successful (underground) electronica album in the late 90's then went on a hiatus, where they did all sorts of other projects. came back as a band some years later, under the influence of crosby, stills & nash, marvin gaye, etc & recruited a new soul singer (andy lovegrove) after hearing him sing on a demo he had sent the band. & with a live band that features rio hemopo (who i hope some of you remember from the celebrated trinity roots (http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=295793)), how could this not be great? haha
come 2005 & the group release the sound inside, a stripped back, mellow, but memorable conscious folk rock blended with earthy electronica album. raw & emotional. music born from a deep love of life’s magic moments. with fans from elton john to ray lamontagne, the sound inside might just be worth a listen. with a new album hopefully not too far off the horizon
