I have not read enough of these. I put Catcher in the Rye. I really want to read On The Road.
Only read 3 of them, and it was a hard choice between Catcher in the Rye and Lord of the Flies, but I chose the later.

Seriously, read that book, you will immediately want to travel all over the country. I was reading it while we were driving to Colorado a couple weeks ago, and when we stopped at a rest area at about 2am, I found myself inside the building, trying to trace his route on the Colorado map.

Went with On the Road, but this is one of my favorite quotes of all time.

It was hard to chose between the Great Gatsby and 1984, but 1984 wins.

I have friends that named one of their songs, "Boats Against The Current."

Tough, very tough. I chose Fahrenheit 451 but it was close between that and Slaughterhouse-Five.
I still need to read On The Road and A Farewell to Arms. I wasn't a big fan of The Catcher in the Rye.

Sons and Lovers is a book I picked up completely at random, and tore through like there was no tomorrow. D.H. Lawrence is incredible.
Definitely On The Road for me; Jack Kerouac is a brilliant writer and I adore that book
Cathcer In The Rye is a close second for me

So far I've only read 4. 1984 was my favorite followed closely by The Catcher and The Rye. A Farwell to Arms was good not great, and I just hated Lord of the Flies.

The Great Gatsby. When I first read it, was around the time I started to love reading and this book had a lot to do with that.
