Remember, the Sox lost to the Cards twice in the World Series. So, if anything, these are their NL rivals as opposed to the Yanks being their AL rivals. One down, one to go. I just think it's all falling into place. Please God, let this be the year that Babe Ruth doesn't haunt the Sox anymore. (knock on wood)

Fucking lucky.
And you know what they say, third times the charm. I'm liking the starters for games 1-3. Wakefield (eh but not bad), Schilling and Pedro.

in the words of Napoleon Dynamite: "lucky!"
the last time the sox played the cards in the world series, it was the same year my parents got married. Kinda nostalgic in a way, I guess (they got married in New England)
