There is lots of talk about Glassjaw (http://www.glassjaw.com) going through major lineup changes. Please do note that the band will NOT be breaking up however, and will still be playing the December show with Thursday. The Jaw apparently have been demoing some new material too, for those that are getting as impatient as me.

hopefully it's Daryl and Beck, since they're pretty much the two founding members.
it probably will be daryl and beck if the 2/5s rumor is true. that really sucks though, especially larry, i like his style

what would suck is that since Daryl has head automatica, and starting another side project, maybe GJ is gonna go all "further-seems-forever" and switch singers... that would qualify as major lineup change

if it really is 2/5's, thatd be kind of weird if it were beck and daryl because larry is in head automatica WITH daryl, so you'd think he'd still be down with GJ too...but that's just an assumption...
It may not be a matter of HIM being down with glassjaw.

I dont want to be the gossip or drama queen but I can say Daryl was the only member of the band who was 100% fond of Beck. Keep in mind that I am not in the band and I can't vouch or claim to have had bad experiences with him personally, but I know a lot of people close to GJ who have an intense distaste for Beck and the way he does things.

Just wait, the band will make an official announcement shortly. I can assure you March was 100% accurate with what he's said so far in this thread, but just wait for the official release I guess.

Considering most glassjaw songs are about being edge, and everyone in glassjaw was edge at one point, and daryl broke edge, and head automatica is getting big I am sure he is probably out.

not at all. i don't think there would be a gj without daryl. and i'd be blown away if beck left too. i'm thinking those are the two staying. hopefully...
and only a few songs mention straight edge at all. nowhere near "most", and only beck and daryl were ever the straightedge members. other than those two, they've had a revolving door of other memberes.

If anything, I would think that Beck, Daryl and Larry stay. Daryl and Larry are close and Daryl and Beck are close. That's all they really need in terms of creating. Either way, if Beck and Daryl stay, I'm still interested.

as ridiculous as it sounds its true...except that daryl didnt kick anyone out beck did...there will be replacements for todd larry and dave for the shows but as far as recording daryl and beck will probably do it all themselves...i personally think its a pretty stupid thing to do and that if they do do another cd it will just tank like the other ones did...not that i dont think they were great its just that they didnt sell enough to make it...

Ehh more like weirdest dude ever. haha I mean he might have an ego but who doesnt now in bands? Honestly. Every single member from a Long Island band are egotistical (with the exception of Doug from The Sleeping).
But honestly from my personal experence Beck was always really cool to me and my friend who worked for him and only for a summer I would add, so if anything thats more of a reason to be dicks to us since we arent perminate staff.
About the Glassjaw situation, it is alittle messed up that Todd will not be in Glassjaw but maybe it's for the best.
And yes I need new Glassjaw material as well!
