Just some idea i thought of like for roads to be fixed and worked on by a privite company instead on goverment and they make their money from the tolls or government incentives. Becuase lets face it goverment sucks at getting anything done. for example in new york their is a bridge called the tappen zee which is going to cost 3-5 BILLION dollors to fix it up which is way more then it cost to build it even with inflation. and it is like this everywhere becuase goverment has to pay thier workers so much while private company give them cheaper their for making it less for taxes pays. they have more moeny to spend and goverments gets and the economy booms.

2nd incentives for living close to where you work. becuase with high gas and the demand getting higher if people dont communite to work everyday they should get a check in the mail from out old uncle sam. help save oil people move theirfore helping the housing market and things are once again good in the old USA.

3rd Nuke up the country! not with bombs but power plants becuase they make the most power for the money and they are the most envorirmently safe. You mite be thinking what about three mile island, well that was only cuased becuase of 6 compleat idiots who didnt pull the switch that shut the reactor which would of made it all fine and dandy that had to run around like idiots until guy #7 saved the day by pulling a switch.
srry about my shit spelling.
post some of your ideas

Can't fix a necessary bridge, but we can build a bridge to nowhere! Also, have you seen transportation appropriations?

Government isn't always the solution, but to say that it never gets anything done is foolish. You don't need lots of "government" but you do need "smart government"...whatever those two terms may mean.

The second idea isn't that bad. I really want a job that allows me to bike to work.

Nuclear energy may be cost efficient, but what about the external(?) costs. You still have to deal with waste, or do we have the ability to limit or eliminate it?

it's not a bridge to nowhere, it's a bridge to financial growth, and better infrastructure.

thought you were talking about the proposed bridge for anchorage.
both have been referred to as a bridge to nowhere.

Was not aware of such a bridge, but Anchorage > some island

definately, fuck spending that kind of money so people in a small town don't have to take a ferry to the airport on occasion........it was stupid of them to put the airport on an island in the first place.

Even if your post was filled with intelligent, helpful thoughts (which it most certainly is not), I wouldn't be able to get past the fact that you have zero concept of punctuation, spelling, and the simple difference between "they're" and "their". Please refrain from making threads.

i'll ignore the fact that your being needlessly catty and contributing nothing of substance to this thread and take this time to let you in on a little secret. punctuation/grammer nazis are really annoying.

I'll let you in on a little secret: I'm neither catty nor a grammar Nazi. I am simply a reader who was annoyed by the unnecessary, long-winded, and general ignorant feel to this thread. I could respect the fact that he had all of these "great" ideas even if I disagreed with them but the fact that his whole op was nothing but useless rambling filled with mistakes turned me off greatly.
