Yea...as kool as it is, and concidering how much I actually like it myself, its really kind of taking over the world. Anyone else notice this? I'm not complaining its just that there seems to really be no more diversity in the world. I read somewhere that 90% of the bands in the U.S. today are going hardcore/screamo/metal. I forget where I read it...so sorry if I cant show you proof. I just find a little something wrong with that. But anyways, besides that...check out my band The In Between. We're an alternative/rock band from Central Jersey. Thanks guys. Later. :blah:

No. Not at all. And no, I don't think that "90%" of bands are screamo/hardcore... thats not accurate it all. And there is no proof, because its not true. There are still TONS of bands making music from other genres.

im sick of american whiney emo... and even more sick of british whiney emo where the singer is trying his best to sound american... though even if they didnt try to sound it i'd still be sick of it, its everywhere

You aren't actually searching for new music if you think most of today's bands have taken the screamo/metal/hardcore route.
