Influences
Chiodos, Saosin, Dance Gavin Dance, A Skylit Drive, Emarosa, Pierce The Veil, Secret & Whisper, Thrice, Silverstein
Your Band
Looking to join an established, serious band with the same influences. By serious I mean people are actually working on music as their full-time jobs, not their weekend hobby. I currently live in Ohio but have no problem leaving friends and family behind for the right group of people, sound, work ethic, and image ( yeah, it's important ).
About Me
I'm in my early twenties, I'm more of a singer than a screamer but I worked on it and can finally scream and go back to my singing without much difficulty. My range is very reminiscent of Kurt Travis of DGD but I have the ability to go higher. I've performed for various bars/clubs locally all doing cover tracks for classic/modern rock just for shits and giggles.
I'd like for you to be a post-hardcore band. I personally can't see myself fronting a pop/punk band in vein of All Time Low/Mayday Parade/Forever the Sickest Kids. Just seems like everyone's going for that sound now. Perhaps if you were a pop/punk band and went more in the direction of Paramore I would enjoy it better but I'd prefer something harder.
Message me and we can discuss what you'd like for me to do as far as an audition is concerned.
