so awful that you wish it was just a dream
gray and silent, like the soft hum of snow on tv
but you can't turn it off and it never really leaves
it lurks in the corner, ready to pounce the second you're weak.

I think it did a good job of capturing the way you feel and gives outsiders who have never lost a loved one a look at how it feels. . I could not imagine ever going through that (and im sorry you had to) Well done in my opinion....if that means anything haha

haha true true, but i had an awful time :( i had never had anaesthesia before so it wrecked me and i threw up for like a whole day...couldn't even keep down water.
