Jonathan Lally:

U2 - I love their new single "Vertigo", and I've been a U2 fan for years..

Jimmy Eat World - Their new cd "Futures" continues to blow my mind. Haven't picked up this cd yet? What are you waiting for?

Coldplay - I know they recently finished their new LP, I'm waiting.. all of their work impresses me. Chris's voice is very soothing.

Copeland - The lead singer has an amazing falsetto.. "Beneath Medicine Tree" is one of my favorite albums of 2003.

Facing New York - Buy their debut EP "Swimming Not Treading" or their split with Amity on smartpunk.com It's amazing. 'Nuff said.

Colin Hayes (http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfi le&friendID=4195571&Mytoken=20041024145045):

Owen - "I Do Perceive" hits stores on November 9th. Listen to She's A Thief (http://www.polyvinylrecords.com/media/prc-080-06.mp3) and become a fan.

Over It - Apart from being an amazing band, these guys are some of the nicest you'll find in the business. Listen to tracks from their upcoming LP "Silverstrand" and don’t be ordinary (http://www.myspace.com/overit).

Park - What is it about the midwest that creates awesome bands? The answer lies here (http://www.parkmusic.com/).

Counterfit - While they're writing for their new album, catch up with From Finish To Starting Line (http://www.purevolume.com/Counterfit).

Mock Orange - Chances are if you don't like the new stuff, you'll like the old stuff and vice versa. I love it all. Check it out (http://www.mockorange.net/downloads.php).

i've been going old school the past week, rediscovering old favorites especially outside of the "punk" genre:

U2 - Joshua Tree
Third Eye Blind - Self-Titled
Foo Fighters - The Color and The Shape
Counting Crows - August And Everything After
Live - Throwing Copper
Our Lady Peace - Clumsy
Everclear - Sparkle and Fade
Bush - Sixteen Stone
Lit - A Place In The Sun
Metallica - Ride The Lightning

now those bring back some memories

I'm letting it be known right here and now that next year when Facing New York's full-length drops, NOBODY will be prepared for how hard it rocks them. Keep that in mind.

U2 is amazing. They just re-released all the Virgin Prunes cds and a dvd. (Bono and the Edge's pre-U2 "punk" band) I never listened to any of it, but it's probably good, its all for sale on interpunk.com. And good call with Park. Driving in Silence is playing with them here on November 2nd, too bad that's election night, otherwise I would go.

Nice call on Counterfit. Seems like it has been a decade since they put out new stuff, I am extremely stoked for their new full length. Any ideas on when it will be coming out?

Codeseven- with 4 other record attepts under there belt they bring you Dancing Echoes / Dead sounds which is fucking amazing.

Homesick for space- "Unison" 2003 release, still listening to it everyday, go buy it.

Engine down- this band rules. there new full length was produced by Brian McTernan and sounds awesome. get it from lookout records.
