Emery (http://www.emerymusic.com/) - Emery has one of the most energetic and intense live shows I've ever seen. The energy of their show reminds me of Story Of The Year's show like a year and a half ago, when they still had something to prove and didn't get fans handed to them on golden platters. Anyway, I have so much respect for Emery doing what they do, and still stayng so incredibly curteous.

Go To The Show! From First To Last was unbelievable at the Columbia show and completely stole the show from Emery and Emery wasn't bad themselves. There will be parties every weekend, don't miss From First To Last live!

Only problem is that From First To Last will be on the other side of the country when Emery comes to Spokane. They're currently on tour with Bad Religion and Rise Against. However you should come anyways.

Rocky Votolato is by far my favorite ever! Waxwing is equally stellar, so you should def. check them out. And regardless if they're still a band or not, they have a decent sized catalogue, so there's a bunch to listen to.

Homesick for space- "Unison" 2003 release, still listening to it everyday, go buy it.

Engine down- this band rules. there new full length was produced by Brian McTernan and sounds awesome. get it from lookout records.

Phoenix!- after puttin out the record of the year in 2000 with united (in my opinion) they come back in 2004 with alphabetical awesome tunes, great tracks, check it out.

I will be at the show in Spokane as well and the guy is right FFTL wont be there which sucks but it still will be a good show. When it was first announced on this site it said that FFTL and Name Taken were opening but they arent now. The line up goes like this now Emery,Brazil, Down to Earth Approach, A Thorn For Every Heart and the Listening. Still a very good show for Spokane and after get a Thorns new album I cant wait to see them live. See you Satruday at Fat Tuesdays also did anyone go to the Used at WSU on Saturday?
